Epicor BisTrack and LMBR BOLT-ON
Put authorized BisTrack data to work without writing back to the ERP.
Lumberyards and building-material dealers often have years of operating history inside Epicor BisTrack. LMBR’s current BOLT-ON entry point is a governed Shadow Pilot that evaluates one branch through authorized exports, preserves source lineage, and shows management what the evidence supports before any broader system decision is made.
Current sellable scope
One branch. Authorized data. Externally read-only.
The current sellable starting point is a one-branch, externally read-only Shadow Pilot.
LMBR offers this evaluation path to lumber, building-material, and truss operations in the United States and Canada.
The current LMBR BOLT-ON offer stages authorized one-branch product and inventory exports, identifies missing or uncertain mappings instead of guessing, and produces review observations and recommendations. It cannot create purchase orders, transfers, adjustments, or other source-system changes.
A practical evaluation path
A disciplined path from BisTrack export to management evidence.
01
Confirm rights and scope
Agree on the branch, records, date range, system owner, export rights, and the exact questions management wants the pilot to test.
02
Stage the authorized export
Receive the approved file through the governed intake path, retain source identifiers and timestamps, and keep it separate from production write authority.
03
Map and reconcile
Normalize the agreed records, expose ambiguous SKUs or units of measure, and lower confidence when the source cannot be reconciled.
04
Review recommendations and outcomes
Show the evidence, recommendation, human decision, and measured outcome as separate records so an estimate is never presented as verified savings.
Questions worth asking
Before choosing a BisTrack add-on, define the operating problem first.
- Which recurring decisions depend on exports, spreadsheets, email, or tribal knowledge after the ERP transaction is recorded?
- Can every product, unit of measure, branch, and source record be traced back to the original export?
- Which data-quality gaps should stop an analysis instead of producing a confident-looking answer?
- Who reviews each recommendation, and how will the team measure whether the accepted decision improved the outcome?
- What information is authorized for one branch, and what data is expressly out of scope?
- What would have to be proven before discussing a broader integration, additional location, or implementation?
Straight answers
Frequently asked questions
Does LMBR replace Epicor BisTrack?
Not in the current LMBR BOLT-ON Shadow Pilot. BisTrack or the customer’s other agreed ERP remains the source system while LMBR evaluates authorized data externally read-only.
Does the current Shadow Pilot include a production BisTrack API integration?
No. The current sellable starting point does not include or promise a production BisTrack API connection. It begins with authorized file or export data whose rights, scope, and quality are reviewed before use.
What can LMBR evaluate from an authorized BisTrack export?
The standard one-branch starting scope focuses on approved product and inventory data. Any additional customer, job, vendor, order, purchase-order, or document history requires a separately signed scope and remains read-only staging data.
Can LMBR work with a lumber company in the United States or Canada?
LMBR is marketing the BOLT-ON evaluation process to lumber, building-material, and truss operations in both the United States and Canada. Each engagement still requires a location-specific data-rights, security, and scope review.
